Founded in 1987

During the years leading up to the establishment of San Francisco Coffee Company, owner Mahmoud Larizadeh was in the continual pursuit of the perfect cup that suited his finicky taste buds. It was in 1987 that Mahmoud decided to stop looking and started roasting his own beans. With an eighteen pound roaster, Mahmound began an endeavor that he would not finish. With only a delicious cup of coffee in mind, he was determined to roast a bean that he could call his own. His ambitious desire and passion for coffee has grown into a business without boundaries. Using beans harvested from around the world, SF Coffee employees carefully inspect the beans by hand before they are roasted in our now 75 pound roaster. We use a completely natural process when roasting, avoiding any chemicals or solvents, to achieve our distinctively high quality coffee. San Francisco Coffee offers a full spectrum of flavored and decaffeinated coffees to suit every taste.
